Summary
Coat; Overcoat - Coat made from fawn twilled napped wool (Kerseymere). It is part lined with matching silk twill. The chest and shoulders are padded with layers of coarse linen, thick rust coloured wool, coarse brown woollen twill and cotton wadding. The underarms are padded with cream wool twill and cotton wadding quilted beneath the lining. Single breasted with a wide fawn velvet collar quilted on the underside. Cuffs faced with velvet. Large domes buttons covered with matching woollen satin. Fly closure. (male)
