Summary
Waistcoat made from brown ribbed corduroy with a back of brown ribbed twilled silk and a lining of cream cotton with narrow stripes in brown and purple. There are pieces of red wool sewn across the lower hald of the back. There are brown napped wool facings.The buckle on the back has a self adjusting device dating from 1893. Gilt buttons with 'C and J Weldon, London' on the reverse. Possibly a gardener or gamekeeper's. (male)
