Summary
Child's cap from Europe made from cotton with a roller printed design of stripes and spots in shades of burgundy and red on cream. It is lined in the crown with linen with a block printed resist-dyed indigo in a polka dot pattern.The brim is lined with a block printed resist dyed linen with a spot pattern of a moon and dot motif. The linings are possibly 18th century. (child)
