Summary
Sleeved waistcoat with cream silk twill foreparts with a cream cotton twill back and bronze green velvet sleeves with beetroot velvet inset. It is lined with cream cotton twill with cream silk twill facings and cream cotton tabby facings (later addition). It is trimmed with narrow gold lace and sequins and gold Russian braid in floral design. The sleeves have gold lace around the wrist, sequins, gold Russian braid in loops and stylised trees of life. It fastens with gold metal buttons with a basket weave pattern. The buttons have been sewn onto a new button stand. Said by Charles Wade to match SNO.TC.566. The sleeves are from a Greek or Balkan jacket and the bodice possibly from European waistcoat. (male/female)
