Summary
Bolero jacket from Albania made from red velvet with blue/yellow/red/grey striped lining with a zigzag design to the body of the jacket. The sleeves are lined with red/yellow/green/blue/pink striped cotton and silk lining with a design of running sprays of leaves. It is trimmed with 32mm wide strips of silver lace down the fronts and round the neck. There is braid round all the edges and on the jacket sides. There is Russian braid on the jacket body. The sleeves are covered overall with braid, silver lace, and Russian braid in a stylised design of daisies, leaves, loops and whirls. (female)
