Summary
Jacket - Part of a jacket and waistcoat from Yugoslavia made from purple velvet with stone white silk satin inner sleeves. The jacket is lined with yellow ribbed silk foreparts and back, cream cotton twill sleeves and inner sleeves and bunting yellow outer sleeves. It is trimmed with gold lace, Russian braid and sequins. The gold lace round all edges, along side back seams and down the sleeve fronts. The Russian braid and sequins form a stylised floral design. The design is inside the gold lace on fronts, centre back, side back and sleeves. The waistcoat fastens with gilt filigree buttons and has been taken in. (male)
