Summary
Kaftan - Persian kaftan made from silk Ikat. It is claret colour with a chevron pattern in rose, green, indigo and cream. There is a yellow selvedge and a cotton warp. It is fully lined with printed cotton with a yellow stripe with a rose and pink stripe overprinted with a continuous pattern of diamonds and leaves in blue/green, orange and brown. There is a facing down the front opening. It fastens with 2 small buttons with fabric loops. Could be Turkoman fabric.
