Summary
Skull cap from North Africa made from natural thick woollen felt and embroidered with coffee coloured curved linear design in broad chain stitch. There are lilac long armed cross stitch designs in groups of three and a pattern darned border in coffee colour. It is edged with lengths of broad chain stitch in lilac, indigo, blue and yellow. There are blue marks on the felt under the stitches. Design is reminiscent of mosques and stars. (male)
