Summary
Wrapper; Abayah - An abayah (wrapper) made from tabby weave cotton with wide stripes in warp and floated weft patterning. There are patterned stripes in natural white, indigo and red with yellow silky floats. The floats of weft patterning form simple patterns of combs and stools. There is a label of indistinct writing in brown ink. It is a similar weave to Nigerian narrow weaving. (male)
