Summary
Shawl - Possibly fine wool warp and weft. Wool fillover. Black field. 28inch (712mm) ends made up of one long (13 inch (330mm) and three narrower borders. Sides with 11inch (280mm) of two borders in harlequin squares in dull red, green, yellow and blue. Sparse warp fringe. 60 inch (1522mm) x 126 inch (3200mm). Probably Paisley.
