Summary
Pantaloons - Made of buff buckskin or shammy. Small falls; horizontal pocket with flap buttoning at corner onto waistband; no fob pocket; 4 inch (102 mm) split at side of leg; reinforcing patches on either side of leg openings; curved seam across centre-back 4 inches (102 mm) below waist at centre-back seam. Trimmed along outside edges of fall; along outside leg seam and along curved seam quilting. 11 cream bone buttons. 1 pair eyelet holes centre-back; buttons for braces (2 front); fastened under foot with leather sewn to inner side of leg. Could be foreign, possibly Spanish.
