Summary

Double ovoid wooden pulley block, with two wooden pulley wheels, made of multiple pieces held together with iron pins, part of one end broken. Groove around body to take spliced hanging rope which passes around a metal eye to which is attached a broken hook.

Provenance

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
