Summary
Circular black wax cast of a medal showing bust of a male figure inscribed 'BLONDIN THE HERO OF NIAGARA' on one side. The other side shows a profile bust of a Medieval King with some wording. On June 30, 1859, Charles Blondin (1824-1897) the “Great Blondin” walked along a tightrope suspended above the rapids of Niagara Falls, becoming the first man to walk across the Falls.
