Summary
Gilt medal with black and white cameo portrait inset of William Pitt, surrounded by Latin motto 'NON SIBI SED PATRIAE VIXIT' (he lived not for himself but for his country). On the reverse is inscribed 'PITT CLUB', REV. AUG. BULWER DD' and 'IN MEMORY OF THE RT HONBLE WM PITT DIED 23 JANY 1806 AGED 47'. In shaped red leather case 'Green Ward and Green' Ludgate Hill on paper label. Likely a membership badge for the Pitt Club belonging to Augustine Bulwer, Charles Wade's great grandfather.
