Summary
One of a pair of Persian heart shaped lacquered wood ceremonial fans. The fan piece with one side showing five red open chrysanthemums and flowers and foliage. The other side with many smaller flowers. Long tapered shaft with two ivory and gold painted sections. Four smaller bands of decoration around the shaft.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
