Summary
Persian lacquer pen case with sleeve cover, ivory painted background overall, painted panels to top and sides of highly stylised gold decoration with flowing trellis design and border of green and yellow leaves. Underneath green painted background with four stylised flower motifs. Sliding interior painted red with central panel with foliage decoration within yellow and black border.
