Summary
Persian wooden games box with sliding lid, rectangular shape, red ground, body painted with chequered frieze in yellow, ivory, gold, and black. The lid showing a male dancer with vase to each side of the figure underneath a painted arch. Small shaped pull handle to the lid, containing one hundred and forty-one circular painted leather counters with emblems to one side. 141 counters March 2009.
