Summary
Cage - Handmade miniature wooden (boxwood) open work birdcage. One six-bar section of upper part opens by pulling two elongated bars projection above the cage. Made by Charles Paget Wade. Inscribed on base 'C.P Wade fect Aet 21'. In notebook no.2, page 25 (1340945.2) Charles Wade refers to: 'Admiral 80. Miniature cage of Box wood C.P.W. fect.' Includes sketch with dimensions.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
