One of nine pins, each enclosed in an ivory case. Marked in ink 'number 10' on both parts. In notebook no.5, page 12 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Lace Room no.140 Set of 10 Ivory cases with needle prickers for piercing the parchment lace patterns' Includes sketch with dimensions 3¼ to 4" long.
