Summary

White porcelain inkstand with a deep rectangular base with two raised inserts decorated with gold. Handles on short sides with five flutes and three holes above shell shape also decorated with gold. Gold rim with two projections in middle of long sides. Much cracked and decorated liberally with pink rosebuds and green leaves.

Provenance

Purchased from the estate of the late Lord Wraxall with the assistance of the NHMF and donations from members and supporters.
