Summary
Model - Bonsai tree in rectangular tub painted black with red flowers. Trunk made in plaster with leaves and blossom of coloured stone attached with thread covered wire. Set in a wooden base. CPW item number 21 (Zenith). In notebook no.1, page 87 (1340945.1) Charles Wade refers to: 'Zenith 21. Chinese Tree with flowers and leaves of transparent stones of varying colours in a lacquered cistern.' Includes sketch with dimensions.
