Summary
Bone model of two figures at a spinning wheel, on two platforms. On the upper platform is a spinning wheel and two female figures, the taller wearing a poke bonnet. The shorter figure depicting a wool holder, with arms held apart holding looped thread. Shorter figure spins. Lower platform with two carved, interconnected cog wheels and turning handle, which also turns the spinning wheel. The whole on a central turned pedestal base. Prisoner-of-war work.
