Summary
A bone model of two painted male figures, on two platforms. The upper platform with two soldiers in blue coats, red trousers and black hats working a model knife grinder - one in position to turn the wheel, the other sharpening a knife. The lower platform with cog wheels and a cam, and a pulley wheel and turning handle. The pulley operates the grinding wheel above, and the cam causes the knife grinder to lift and drop his knife. Prisoner-of-war work.
