Summary
Figure group - Partially foil covered black wooden stand on which are two carved ivory ladies in poke bonnets with decorated, carved skirts and red painted collars sitting on high chairs either side of a wool winding machine. Arms pivoted. One lady's arm connected to the winder by thread. Prisoner-of-war work.
