Summary
Model of railway locomotive with tender, made of card. Engine and tender '990 C.N.R'. Painted green and black with red wheels. Made by Charles Paget Wade for the Model Village (Wolf's Cove). Engine – Cardboard covered wooden locomotive, 4-4-2 configuration, boiler, wheels and cab painted green with yellow lining to tops of driving wheels’ housing. Red connecting rods and sides of chassis. Black chassis. Detail of controls inside cab. Damaged on right hand side (parts missing). ‘990’ on cab sides. Tender – Locomotive tender, painted green and outlined in black with ‘C N R’ in gold on sides. Red chassis with six green wheels on pin axles. Buffers and a coupling chain at one end. Filled with coal, and a trundle on top. Bent pin as a brake handle.
