Summary
Model - Part of a formation of sixteen wagons of a model railway freight train from Charles Paget Wade's Model village (Wolf's Cove). A grey painted wooden 0 gauge coarse scale Great Northern Railway engineers department wagon. White painted lettering by Charles Paget Wade on the sides reads 'E D.' (Engineers Department). Two round, sprung buffers and a coupling hook and chain each end. On four steel wheels. No Maker's Mark, probably made by Charles Paget Wade by fixing Bassett Lowke fittings to a wooden chassis.
Provenance
Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
