Summary
Model - Part of a formation of sixteen wagons of a model railway freight train from Charles Paget Wade's Model village (Wolf's Cove). One of a pair (with 1339315.2) of grey painted wooden Great Northern 0 gauge coarse scale tree carrying bolsters. Bolster has a metal spike and a metal loop at each end. This bolster is wider than the one on the other wagon. Wagon has white painted lettering by Charles Paget Wade on the sides which reads 'G.N.R.' (Great Northern Railway) and 'No 15'. It has two rounded, sprung buffers and a coupling hook and chain at each end. Four steel wheels. No Maker's Mark, probably made by Charles Paget Wade by fixing Bassett Lowke fittings to a wooden chassis.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
