Summary
Model - Part of a formation of sixteen wagons of a model railway freight train from Charles Paget Wade's Model village (Wolf's Cove). One of a pair (with 1339315.16) of grey painted Midland Railway covered goods wagons in 0 gauge coarse scale. White painted lettering to side reads 'M R' (Midland Railway) and 'Tare 8-6-0', and '3987'. Wagon has one black vacuum pipe at each end and one lamp bracket at each end. Two buffers and a coupling hook and chain at each end. Fitted at one end with a Maker's Mark reading 'MILBRO TRADE MARK' possibly adapted by Charles Paget Wade by fixing Bassett Lowke fittings and a white painted roof to a wooden chassis.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
