Summary
Doll's house bed and bedding. Metal framed bed with canopy. Frame painted green. Side valence and canopy in brown floral waxy material. Plain cream cotton base for mattress. On bed, padded mattress made of brown tartan cotton with wool, with cover of cotton with purple stripes and cream flowers. White cotton pillow. In notebook no.5, page 48 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Nursery no.131 Doll's 'Tester' Bed with old print hangings of re, brown & white. Ironwork is painted bright green.' Includes sketch with dimensions.
