Summary
Carved wooden model of a spotted hound. Legs damaged. Brown handwritten label attached ' Mr Wade's favourite hound'. In notebook no.5, page 49 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Seventh Heaven no.141 Farm Set Two dogs, a sheep, 'John' & a small cart, painted blue with red wheels & shafts'. Includes sketch with dimensions. In Haphazard Notes Volume 1 (SNO.MISC.952.1) Charles Wade refer to 'Then there was John the Farm Boy, with his sheep, a very graceful white hound with orange coloured spots & a small red & blue wagon' Wade also includes a colour sketch of this model. (page 42)
