Model - Caravan from the 'Village Fair' with brown painted body and red painted spoke wheels, white roof, two larger wheels at the back. Tiny nameplate across the top 'Charles Wade'. Pail and barrel by the door. Two hanging lamps, window each side and green painted birdcage, compartment at the back containing two material bundles. Interior replicates Jolly Roger. In notebook no.5, page 31 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Seventh Heaven no.13 A Village Fair 11 Models made by C P Wade. A Booth. Tarlay’s Waxworks. A Stall. Swing Boats. ‘Try your Strength’ Pole. Punch & Judy. Coconut Shy & Five Caravans. a Theatre with 3 Indian figures. The Caravans are fitted up inside with Bunks, Seats, Stove, Dresser etc. Shafts, Lamp & steps.' Includes sketches
