Summary
Model of stage of Theatre Royal from the 'Village Fair' (Wolf's Cove) in dark turquoise lined with red. Royal coat of arms over the stage with red writing of Theatre Royal. Black silk curtains. Construction - wooden box, open one side, which has an added façade. Box covered in paper on two sides, with paper tape on edges. Inside, metal loop in roof with a broken piece of decorated cord. Brown cardboard at back. In notebook no.5, page 31 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Seventh Heaven no.13 A Village Fair 11 Models made by C P Wade. A Booth. Tarlay’s Waxworks. A Stall. Swing Boats. ‘Try your Strength’ Pole. Punch & Judy. Coconut Shy & Five Caravans. a Theatre with 3 Indian figures. The Caravans are fitted up inside with Bunks, Seats, Stove, Dresser etc. Shafts, Lamp & steps.' Includes sketches
