Summary
Mile wheel - wooden way-wiser with external brass cog wheels and originally leather, now synthetic, belt. Eight wooden spokes and rim to the wheel. In notebook no.5, page 108 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Large Garret no.90 Mile Wheel of Mahogany not complete. Hoop rim with flat tapering spokes' Includes sketch.
