Summary
Mile wheel - steel way-wiser with wooden dial box attached to the side of the hub. Two white painted dials on the front and one on top - these are dummies. Box, handle and wheel rim painted dark green. Six metal spokes and circular section metal wheel rim. In notebook no.5, page 17 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Large Garret no.86 Perambulator or Wheel Way Wiser An Early one with wooden mechanism painted dark green' Includes sketch, with diameter shown as 31".
