Summary
Working model knife grinder's cart made by H.R Waiting from a design by Charles Paget Wade. Painted dark blue with vermillion wheels. Loose bucket hanging on left side; 5 miniature knives by grinding wheels. Charles Wade includes a painting of a knife grinder's cart in his Yoxford notebook (1340944 SNO.MISC.955) on page 74. He also describes the local Tinker who he obviously admired for his skill of building and mending objects despite having had no training.
