Summary
Model of a boat fitted with seven thwarts, stern eyes and metal rings bow and stern. The gunwhale is cut out for oars. Spaces would have had removeable 'poppets'. One mast and lug sail, both missing. White hull with black gunwhale line. In notebook no.2, page ? (1340945.2) Charles Wade refers to: 'Admiral 279. Model of a Boat fitted with seven thwarts and stern sheets and grating filling the bow. The gunwale cut out for oars, the spaces would have removeable "poppets". One mast and lug sail. White hull.' Includes sketch with dimensions.
