Summary
Bicycle - Velocipede, iron frame painted black, lined white. Wooden wheels painted green, lined white, with iron tyres. Leather saddle, adjustable along length of crossbar. Wooden triangular pedals, with small triangular indentations. Rope operated brake with metal friction surface. (Rear wheel now misaligned). In notebook no.5, page 94 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Large Garret no. Ten specimens with wooden wheels 4 (66.4) With green Bice Wheels lined white. fr. Hereford'
