Summary
Three wheeled, two-seater pram upholstered with black leather with buttoned back and arms. Wooden footrest. Turned fruitwood handle. Weatherproof leg shield. Seat attached by ‘C’ springs to rear axle. In notebook no.5, page 92 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Large Garret no.50 Perambulator for Two Children. Upholstered black. Body painted black and lined red + yellow. The stays for the handle are wood and run down to take bearings of the front wheel. Found in the loft at Snowshill Arms.' Includes sketch with date 1860.

CPW item 50, found in the loft of the Snowshill Arms Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
