Summary
Two-seater pram with wooden sides, painted dark green, on iron suspension. Each seat facing has upholstered leather back, wooden seats and there is one loose cushion. Four metal wheels and single pulling shaft. In notebook no.5, page 90 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Large Garret no.42 Early perambulator the 'C' springs are continued forming two perches. Upholstered with Buff Cloth. C. I. wheels painted green. fr Worcestershire' Includes sketch with date 1830.
