Summary
Elaborate Suffolk-style wooden farm cart with fore and aft tail boards, double shaft. Painted blue and red. Wooden wheels with iron tyres. In notebook no.5, page 97 (1340945.5) Charles Wade refers to: 'Large Garret no.33 Children's play cart. Suffolk wagon. Roughly built. Heavy oak wheels, perch, shafts, pole, hay handlers winches. Painted blue and red. Fr Framlingham, Suff ' Includes sketch and date 1830. In Gloucester Records Office, (1342628) ref. D/10423/Box4/82: a receipt from H.H.Lanman dated Jan 8 1929 for a Childs Cart bought on Dec 29 1928 for £2 10s.
