Summary

Model - Miniature four deck warship entirely made of boxwood including the sails and rigging. Figurehead and anchor at bow. Lifeboat, capstan, hatch, cannons. Boat hanging from stern. Staircase down the side. French prisoner-of-war work. Now displayed in a glass fronted wooden case.

Provenance

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
