Summary
Model of the Spurn lightship made by Mr Wade c.1900, painted red, black and white. ‘SPURN’ painted in white on both sides. Main mast with rigging, smaller mizzen mast. Pennants on top of rigging. On a broad, wooden stand. In notebook no.2, page 20 (1340945.2) Charles Wade refers to: 'Admiral 55. Small model of the SPURN Lightship, shows deck details' Includes sketch with dimensions.
