Summary
Pocket terrestrial globe. Spherical red leather covered pasteboard hinged case containing fitting terrestrial globe. Celestial sphere on the inside of the case. Labelled 'New Globe of the Earth by Dudley Adams'. English, first quarter of the 19th century. In notebook no.2, page 31 (1340945.2) Charles Wade refers to: 'Admiral 120 (iii). 'A New Globe of the Earth. DUDLEY ADAMS. In case of Red leather. with celestial sphere inside'
