Summary
Tellarium. Sun, Earth and Moon system represented by ivory globes. Mechanically driven (not powered) with brass gearing to show generation of seasons and eclipses. Mahogany base with stuck on faceplate printed from engraved plate, identical in construction and printing with SK.4. English, no makers name, early 19th century. In notebook no.2, page ? (1340945.2) Charles Wade refers to: 'Admiral 149. Planetary with geared mechanism to give movement of the earth and the Moon.' Includes sketch with dimensions.
