Summary
Armillary Heliocentric sphere. Wood and paper construction on ebonised turned wooden base. Central sun plus six rotable rings, vertically oriented (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn). Earth and moon positioned in gap in third ring (Earth missing). Outermost horizontal zodiac ring printed from engraved plates. Printed information about the relevant planet on each ring. General celestial information on outermost ring. French, no makers name, early 19th century (1810-1820).
