Summary
Well head of Venetian marble sitting on an octagonal plinth with a coat of arms to one side and flowers to two further sides, metal grid and bracket. Charles Wade refers to this item in his notebook Haphazard Notes Volume 2, on page 105 (incorrectly numbered by Wade). 'An OLD VENETIAN WELL HEAD of white marble which has toned to the colour of the stone. It has a Coat of Arms – In S. K. Museum is the Cornice from a North Italian Palace with this Heraldry'. Wade has also include sketches of the well head, coat of arms and iron grille.
