Burmese palm leaf prayer-book, vermillion and gold edges to closely written leaves, the vermillion end boards with curved tops. Textile string threaded through. In notebook no.4, page 54 (1340945.4) Charles Wade refers to: 'Seraphim 243. Palm Leaf Book vermillion & gold edges, boards with a hollow moulding of vermillion. 20" x 2" x 5¼" Burmese.'
