Summary

Nautical chart made from two maps of the Gulf of Mexico including Cuba, Haiti and Jamaica. Chart no.11, published by James Imray and Son, London. 1879 and 1880. Both cartridge paper mounted on blue sugar paper. Yellow label on reverse title 'CHART No.11. Price 14s, with a Book of Directions 18s'. Blue label is Graham and Parks, Chronometer Makers to the Admiralty, 43 Canning Place, Liverpool.

Provenance

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
