Summary
Black and white portrait photograph, printed on paper stuck onto a white photographer's card (carte de visite). Below picture, printed 'R.Scott & Son, Carlisle'. On reverse, printed in ornate script as a logo 'Benjn. Scott & Son Devonshire Street Carlisle Under Royal Patronage' beneath the coat of arms of the Order of the Garter; in pencil 'Constance Bulwer'. Picture is of a boyish-looking girl, wearing a long buttoned dress with ruched skirt, collar with bands, and boots. She has a very short hair style. She is leaning on a chair with fringed seat, on which sits a dog licking her right hand.
