Summary

Black and white portrait photograph, printed on paper stuck onto a white photographer's card (carte de visite). Below picture, printed 'Negrett & Zambra Crystal Palace Sydenham'. On reverse, in ink, 'No. 104118 April 1877; printed 'Negretti & Zambra Crystal Palace Sydenham. Copies may had by quoting the above Number. This or any other Portrait Enlarged up to Life size and Painted in Oil or Water colours'; in pencil 'Edith Stoughton'. Picture is of a lady dressed in a long coat with fur down the front, lace cravat and hat with a feather. She is in a studio setting leaning on a wooden fence with backcloth of trees.

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
